offers superior service when it comes to fixing any computer related
problems. Response time is critical in choosing a computer service company.
Our response time is generally within 24 hours of your first call. In
more critical situations such as down server, payroll workstation or
other events specific to your business, a much faster response time
of two hours or less is common.* Our experienced staff can help you
with anything from a Novell server issue to removal of viruses.
Hourly rates are $85.00.
* A travel fee will be charged for any on-site
work done outside of Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, or Catawba counties
in North Carolina.
Includes:
- Installation of Manufacturer supplied, free, operating system
and anti-virus updates.
- Deletion of temporary files, spyware, and adware.
- Verification of backup system once every 3 months.
- Overall system evaluation, including but not limited to processor
speed, memory, hard drive free space, and software versions.
- Server software updates will be applied every six months at a
minimum due to the down time required.
- Includes guaranteed 4-hour response by phone or on-site service technician
or first hour of service call is free, M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM. Call must be placed
at office with secretary during normal business hours M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM

maintenance, and not guarantee against downtime and, or, loss of data.
While every step will be taken to greatly reduce the risk of data
loss, Comtek of Hickory Inc. will not be held responsible before,
during or after service for any loss of data or down time. Participating
companies must have DSL, Cable, or faster internet connections. Additional
fees will apply for those with only dial-up service. Services will
be scheduled and billed once a month for one full year. Any additional
services performed on site are not covered and will be billed at the
normal hourly rate. Any customer outside of Alexander, Burke, Caldwell,
or Catwaba counties in North Carolina are subject to a travel fee.
